BOARD MINUTES

 

TOWN OF COLUMBIA

REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING

    JULY 9, 2009      

 

The Town of Columbia Town Board held a regular monthly meeting July 9, 2009, at the town building.

   

MEMBERS PRESENT: Supervisor Weiss, Councilmen Buddle, Keeler,                           Lynch, and Teletnick.

 

MEMBERS ABSENT: None

 

OTHERS PRESENT: Pat Woytowich, Clerk; B. Peplinski, County                   Legislator, Dist.#2; 1 residents of the town;               Mitch VanWinkler, Codes/Zoning Officer

 

Supervisor Weiss called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Pledge of Allegiance

A motion was made by Councilman Keeler, seconded by Councilman Teletnick, to accept the minutes of June 11th with  correction that Dropp Road will be oil & stoned – not paved.

  VOTE:  All members voted aye.

 

A motion was made by Councilman Teletnick, seconded by Councilman Lynch, to accept the Supervisor and Town Clerk monthly reports.

  VOTE:  All members voted aye.

 

BILLS:  The Board audited the monthly bills.  A motion was made by Councilman Keeler, seconded by Councilman Lynch, to accept the following bills:

General Fund, #100 - #112 for $ 5,873.73

Trust & Agency, #7 for $ 382.26

Highway, Item 1, #14 - #18 for $ 9,124.83

Highway, Item 3, #49 - #53 for $ 4,254.62

Highway, Item 4, #42 - #44 for $ 4,269.52

 

  VOTE: All members voted aye.

 

DEPARTMENT REPORTS:

-ZONING: Mitch updated the board with his quarterly zoning                report.

-HIGHWAY: On vacation this week

 

BOARD DISCUSSION: Coffee pot for hall was discussed.  Two thirty cup pots will be purchased rather than one larger. Refrigerator for the hall will be priced in the fall.

 

INPUT:  The Board received input from those attending.

 

Next meeting will be August 13th.

 

A motion was made by Councilman Keeler, seconded by Councilman Buddle, to adjourn.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
